MP3's 101

Although not mandatory, it is highly recommended that you include an audio MP3 sample in your music submission. Many customers would like to hear the composition before purchasing or downloading it. That being said, we know it is not an easy task to create a high quality recording of your music. Keep in mind that a poor recording can be worse than no recording at all (pushing customers away from purchasing your product).

In order to create a high quality recording, we recommend using one of the following methods (organized by quality).

  • Fair - Using a Device You Already Have.
  • Good - Invest in a Quality Microphone
  • Better - Set Up Your Own Home Studio
  • Best - Use a Professional Recording Studio
